The National Final for Great Britain will take place
on Sunday 14 October at The Gainsborough Golf Club in
Lincolnshire..
The YMG Junior Masters tournaments utilise a Flag Competition
golf format. Each competitor is allocated a number of
strokes dependent upon age and they must play the course
until all their allocated shots are used up. The winner
is the player who progresses furthest around the course
using their allocation of shots. In the qualifying events,
the strokes allocated were designed to allow play of
approximately 9 holes. For the final, the shot allocation
in each age group is doubled to allow competitors to
play approximately 18 holes.
