 The
YMG Junior Masters is a brilliant tournament and all
YMG members are encouraged to enter. The regional qualifiers
are held during the school summer holidays and in 2006
there were 13 regional qualifiers (shown below) and
to enter all you had to do was download an entry form.
The entry forms were also available from YMG PGA Pros
at YMG Junior Golf Academies up and down the country
and by contacting YMG direct.
Start times for each event...
Tee off times for the YMG Junior Masters regional
qualifiers were published on the YMG website 5 days
before each event.
Qualifiers Throughout UK & Ireland
The 2006 tournament qualifiers kicked off in Northern
Ireland at Castle Hume Golf Club. From Northern Ireland
the qualifying events worked their way around Ireland
and the United Kingdom, with the last chance to qualify
for the National Final taking place at Morley Hayes
in Derbyshire on Friday 25 August.
The top boy and top girl competitor in each of the
five age categories at each of the Regional Qualifiers
then progressed to the National Final will took
place at the prestigious Warwickshire Golf and Country Club
on Sunday 8 October. You can read a report and

Open to all YMG Juniors
Every YMG Junior Member who is aged 16 years
of under (on 1st of January 2006) was invited to take
part in the tournament and as a competitor you are guaranteed
to have a brilliant day whichever event you choose to
take part in.
