SNAG Golf

SNAG, which stands for 'Starting New At Golf', is an integrated system which allows the playing, teaching and learning of golf while having brilliant fun.

The game contains all the basic elements of golf but in a modified form. Unlike golf-based or golf-like activities such as miniature golf, SNAG is real golf in that doesn't substantially alter the game's fundamental nature or reduce its appeal.

Perfect to start golf
With SNAG you can hit full shots, pitch shots, use chipping and putting, just as you would with real golf. But because the SNAG ball has a limited distance it can travel, the average player will only be able to hit it a maximum of 50 yards.

But because the clubs and the balls are especially designed and weighted, it still feels like real golf - just bigger and easier to learn and practice with. And because it feels like real golf, for beginners the transition from SNAG to YMG is even easier.

But it also makes SNAG perfect for golf-crazy youngsters and adults to practice with. So even if you are already playing golf, SNAG is great to help fine tune your game, even if you can't get anywhere near the golf course or driving range.

SNAG has only two clubs: one to hit, pitch and chip the ball with, called the Launcher; and the other one being like an oversized putter, called the Roller. All shots other than putting are played off a small rubber mat and tee called the Launch Pad, which ensures that the player will have an optimal lie every time.

The target also differs from anything in golf as it is not a hole with a cup inside but rather an above ground weighted cylinder covered with hook material, called the Flagsticky The SNAG ball is slightly smaller than a tennis ball and covered with loop material. Unlike golf where you finish by putting the ball into the hole, in SNAG , you finish by sticking your ball to the Flagsticky.

Play SNAG Golf anywhere!
Because of the Flagsticky and the Launch Pad, SNAG is portable and can be played anywhere - from your back garden, to the school hall or playing field. In fact, with SNAG "the world is your golf course!"

SNAG is an essential part of the Mighty Masters Golf program for schools. which, like the YMG Junior Golf program, makes learning golf fun, fast and easy.

The Rollerama and Bullseye Target are both designed to help develop accurate shot-making skills. For group practices, SNAG offers the Sticky Jacket and Helmet where the target becomes human!
